Student Chapter

IMA student chapters are communities dedicated to connecting accounting, finance, and business students on college campuses. These chapters engage in various activities including spreading the word about IMA on campus, sponsoring talks and discussions with local business leaders, helping students make career decisions, and providing community service.  The Cleveland East Chapter currently sponsors three active student chapters.

Through these chapters – started by students or faculty advisors – students gain direct access to IMA professional members in their area. They also learn how to be leaders, how to work together as a team toward a common goal, and how to negotiate conflict. Student chapters provide great training for what it’s going to be like in the real world.
